ASGK Public Strategies Expands Team with Two Senior Hires
2012 APR 21 - (VerticalNews.com) -- ASGK Public Strategies, the public affairs firm founded by David Axelrod and Eric Sedler, announced the addition of Eileen Marcus as managing director and David Wade as principal to its D.C. office. The two senior hires are the latest for the growing firm that is continuing to augment its D.C. and national presence.

An accomplished marketing communications executive, Marcus joins ASGK having had nearly three decades of public relations experience and success. She is an expert in health communications and has led efforts for some of the world's leading brands. including AARP, Merck Hispanic Diabetes franchise and the Library of Congress.
Marcus was a leader at the Fleishman-Hillard Washington, D.C., office where she was a senior vice president and senior partner, directing advocacy and communications efforts on behalf of the Boomer population, military families, among many others. Prior to coming to Washington, Marcus held senior positions at some of Miami's leading agencies, including Burson-Marsteller's Florida office where she was the general manager and senior vice president.
Wade comes to ASGK Public Strategies following his tenure at the White House Office of Communications, where he aided messaging efforts around several core national policy initiatives.
He has deep roots in Washington and in the campaign world, working for the Obama for America campaign, the Office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and congressional and local campaigns. Wade also worked for ASGK's political counterpart, AKPD Message & Media, where he was the firm's Research Director in 2004.
